Webjet Group CEO Katrina Barry steps down

Webjet Group MD and CEO Katrina Barry will step down from her role, as the online travel business continues its post-demerger transition.

Barry, who joined the company as a non-executive director in 2022, was appointed CEO of the B2C division in June 2024 during a pivotal period that saw the separation and ASX listing of Webjet’s consumer business.

“Barry led the business during the successful demerger and ASX listing of the Group’s B2C  businesses to become Webjet Group,” said Webjet Group’s chairman, Don Clarke.

“She then developed a new five-year strategic roadmap for the group and focused on the upgrade of the company’s brand, marketing, and technology capabilities.”

Barry will remain with the business through to May to support the transition and finalise full-year results.

The board has commenced a search for a new CEO, with further updates to be provided in due course.

Webjet Group reaffirmed its FY26 guidance, forecasting underlying EBITDA of $28 million to $29 million. The company noted that while global uncertainty continues to influence travel demand, trading remains resilient, particularly across domestic and short-haul markets in Asia-Pacific.
