Pomelo debuts in-app livestream technology
Pomelo has debuted in-app livestream technology, the first fashion brand to launch it in Southeast Asia.
Pomelo customers can now have a preview of the Spring-Summer 2020 Collection ahead of its launch which will be live streamed via the brand’s app.
With the in-app livestream technology, Pomelo’s real-time content, beginning with launch showcase this week, will be available to the brand’s followers across Southeast Asia.
“As the retail landscape continues to evolve, Pomelo stands out by bringing dynamic experiences to fans that combine shopping with engaging, real-time content,” said Jean Thomas, CMO of Pomelo.
“Constant innovation and a strong dedication to reinventing the omnichannel experience are a large part of Pomelo’s DNA, and we’re confident that the launch of the new in-app livestream technology, among other new developments still to come, will enable us to be at the forefront of innovation in this industry.”
Besides the livestream experience, Pomelo also offers followers on-site interviews featuring interactive Q&A sessions with fashion personalities. The in-app livestream functionality will be fully shoppable from March.
Pomelo’s Spring Summer 2020 collection will be available on the brand’s apps, website, and in all stores across Thailand and Singapore from March 4.
