Online activewear brand expands
Ryderwear, an online activewear brand specialising in bodybuilding and gym apparel, has moved into a new warehouse and office space to bring every part of the growing business under one roof.
The purpose-built, 800sqm facility houses a photo and video studio, auditorium, fashion design centre and break out spaces for meetings and conferences.
It is a stark contrast to the brand’s humble beginnings in founder David Lukic’s grandmother’s garage 10 years ago.
“We have enjoyed success domestically and in exports, but it’s been a lot of hard work getting there,” Lukic said about the South Australian business.
“The new HQ is a culmination of the dedication and passion of the Ryderwear team. It reflects our expansion as a brand and cements our presence on the global stage.”
According to Lukic, Ryderwear has had average growth in revenue of 81 percent over the past three years, and the new office has been designed to accommodate expected future growth.
Operating in a somewhat niche segment of the activewear market, bodybuilding, the business has partnered with some of the world’s biggest bodybuilders and international fitness industry giants.
Lukic expects the new space to serve as a focal point of innovation and a gathering place for creatives to collaborate with Australian talent.
