Nominations now open for 2019 Top 50 People in E-Commerce

Internet Retailing‘s 2019 Top 50 People in E-Commerce is drawing near, and readers are invited to put forward deserving candidates for consideration.

Nominations will remain open through the end of September, after which candidates will be asked to provide additional information for judging.

A panel of e-commerce experts will then score each candidate to determine the final ranking.

The Top 50 will be revealed in the 2019 Top 50 People in E-Commerce report, which will be released at launch party in Melbourne at the end of February.

The report will include headshots and bios for every person on the list, as well as profiles of the year’s standout performers.

This is Internet Retailing’s fourth annual report recognising the biggest and brightest e-commerce talents in Australia.

A new panel of experts has been assembled to determine this year’s e-commerce standouts, bringing to the table fresh eyes and many years of experience in the industry.

However, we need  your help to ensure no stone goes unturned in the search for e-commerce leaders doing great work in Australia. Submit your nomination today.

Criteria

To qualify, candidates must be an e-commerce professional in an Australian e-commerce business or marketplace. Vendors and service providers are not eligible.

Candidates must also demonstrate excellence in one or more of the following areas:

  • Commercial success: The candidate has driven commercial success in the business through the online channel.
  • Innovation: The candidate has led innovation in the business by using new knowledge to introduce product, process, marketing or organisational change.
  • Knowledge sharing: The candidate has provided thought leadership via articles, presentations, public appearances, and/or contributed to education by presenting at training courses, making educational videos, providing mentorship, etc.
  • Broader impact: The candidate has made a positive impact on the broader community, including customers, shareholders, employees and society at large by championing a cause like sustainability, diversity or ethical manufacturing.
