KFC launches in-app food delivery service

KFC Australia is launching a white-label food delivery service through its KFC App, and will offer free delivery for the first two weeks when customers purchase the returning Tower Burger.

The offer, which is possible through its partnership with DoorDash Drive, will allow customers to order meals through the brand’s app and have them delivered by DoorDash drivers.

“We’ve listened to our fans, and we’ve made ordering even easier for them by launching a delivery service via the KFC App,” said chief marketing officer Kristi Woolrych.

“It’ll come as no surprise that over the last year we’ve seen even more demand for our Kentucky Friend Chicken outside of our restaurants as people look more for convenience and home delivery. By offering KFC delivery as a new service via the KFC App, we want our fans to enjoy the full KFC experience with all the trimmings.”

KFC is already available for delivery through meal delivery services such as Deliveroo and MenuLog. When delivering through the app, however, customers will be able to track their delivery as well as get access to exclusive delivery deals.
