Inside Retail Live launches in 2017

Octomedia, publisher of Internet Retailing and Inside Retail is launching Inside Retail Live, APAC’s major retail conference and expo, in 2017. The event will run over three days (March 29-31) at the revamped International Convention Centre in Darling Harbour, Sydney.

Inside Retail Live will kick off with a launch party for the 2017 Top 50 People in E-Commerce on the first night, giving attendees a chance to network with the biggest and brightest talents in Australia’s e-commerce industry.

The event will also feature Q&A sessions and panel discussions with leading international and Australian retail executives, augmented and virtual reality stages, live stage performances and entertainment. And with a large expo space dedicated to 150+ exhibitors in e-commerce, technology, CRM, POS, payments and other key areas, Inside Retail Live promises to be a valuable and rewarding experience.

“Australia hasn’t really had an event of this scale that actually touches so many aspects of retail,” said Nati Harpaz, chairman, of Octomedia. “Our event has three days, with each focusing on different aspects of the retail operations. The other very different aspect of this event is the fact that we are purposely making it free for the first day and a small ticket price for the other days.”

Entrance to the conference is free for accredited retailers on the first day, which will focus on the theme of Retail Management. Day two will be all about The Customer and day three will explore Experiential Retailing.

“We are trying to reach as many of our audience and give them an event that they can really get ‘ROTI’ from,” said Harpaz. “’ROTI’ is Return On Time Invested – coming to these events, especially if you travel interstate or from overseas, takes time and one thing retailers don’t have is time.”

“The speakers that we have confirmed are either international executives or C level executives from major Australian retailers,” said Harpaz. “This will make it a really great experience to learn, network and have some fun.”
