Ikea adds four regional distribution points for online service

Ikea Australia has established four regional distribution centres across NSW, providing customers with more convenient ways to purchase home furnishings through the brand’s online channels.

The new sites, located in Orange, Albury, Coffs Harbour, and Lismore, use a third-party logistics (3PL) model to provide a localised pick-up service.

Operated by delivery partner Team Global Express, the addition of these four sites brings the total number of regional Ikea collection points across Australia to 14, joining existing hubs in locations such as Newcastle, Geelong, and Hobart.

“New Collection Points mean more Australians can access our products, even if they live far away from our big blue box stores,” said Giovanni Rutigliano at Ikea ANZ.

“These four collection points, and other locations to follow, create better access to Ikea’s quality, affordable and sustainable home furnishing solutions.”
