Hubbed helps eBay expand click-and-collect offer

Collection-point network Hubbed has partnered with eBay Australia to expand its click-and-collect locations.

With the Hubbed network, eBay customers will be able to access 1200 selected collection points across the country.

“The partnership will expand our reach, enabling even greater coverage to buyers in regional areas,” said David Ramadge, senior director at eBay Australia. “With more Australians planning to shop online this Christmas, we hope it will provide greater convenience to shoppers purchasing from our 40,000 Australian retailers.”

Hubbed provides parcel pick-up and drop-off (Pudo) services to e-commerce customers with a network of more than 2000 locations in Australia. The company partners with multiple brands to offer different collection points, including 7-Eleven and service-station network BP.

“There has been significant growth in the use of click-and-collect services over the last year, due, in large part, to the acceleration of e-commerce sales,” said David McLean, CEO and founder of Hubbed.

McLean said customers also prefer locations that are reliable, secure and support sustainability by reducing the number of journeys made by couriers to individual homes.
