Couturissimo brings haute couture to the masses
A new e-commerce fashion website Couturissimo is selling “accessible” fashion from high-end designers.
The multi-label fashion website was started by the Asian Couture Federation and has been operating a month. Prices range from $S169 to $869.
The concept is to work with famous haute couture designers from around Asia and create pieces which those with more modest budgets can afford. Three Asian designers signed up for the launch: South Korea’s Zio Song, Michael Cinco from the Philippines and Sebastian Gunawa from Indonesia.
Paris brand On Aura has also provided garments.
To mark the online launch, a capsule collection is on display in a pop-up store in the Takashimaya department store on Orchard Rd in Singapore until September 30.
