Oroton together with Marie Claire and the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Sydney will be
partnering with BuyReply in a world first shopping experience.
Using BuyReply technology
Fashion lovers can buy Oroton’s debut apparel collection directly off the runway by sending
a one word email or tweet and completing a simple checkout.
This enables a completely new buying experience by allowing existing and engaged audiences
to transact instantly using the most common technologies on their smartphones, email,
twitter and SMS. BuyReply can be used on any medium and is particularly powerful when
used in conjunction with large audiences as we are doing at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival
Sydney. Guests at the Oroton show will receive a look book with select items available for
BuyReply uses native technologies available on all smart phones and does not require an app
download or camera scan to activate a transaction which has been the limitation of similar
technologies to date. Furthermore, Twitter is turned into an eCommerce channel. When you
‘tweet to buy’ all your followers have to do is re-tweet your tweet to buy the same item. Sales
