Bulletproof Expands Operations

BulletproofBulletproof, the mission critical provider of cloud services and the first Australian AWS Premier Consulting Partner, today announced a series of strategic business moves, designed to position the recently listed company for rapid expansion.

Just two months since the award-winning cloud services provider listed on the ASX, Chief Customer Officer Mark Randall today announced the opening of a new Melbourne office, as well as three key hires; Shane Cox and Aleks Tasevski, who will take on senior roles in regional and international business development, and Lee-Sia Kay as Bulletproof’s marketing manager.

Speaking this morning, Mark Randall, CCO Bulletproof said: “It has been a big year for Bulletproof. We listed on the ASX, climbed the ranks of the CRN Fast 50 and Deloitte Technology Fast 50 and recently announced a strategic partnership with Sitecore.”

“We are now focusing on bolstering our team, expanding our reach with a new Melbourne office to complement our existing presence in Sydney and Brisbane and filling it with talented local tech and sales teams,” Randall said.

Melbourne office

Based in Collins Street, in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, the new Bulletproof office will serve as the hub for Bulletproof’s southern region operations. It will also act as the regional support centre for Bulletproof Support™. Aleks Tasevski is heading up business development in the southern region – Victoria and South Australia – and brings over 14 years of business and technical experience to the business.

The initial focus will be building a sales and technical team in Melbourne, to provide technical and commercials support to customers and partners based in the region.

Current Bulletproof clients in the region include Tourism Victoria and Bluescope Steel and local partners include IE Agency and Isobar.

Growth in international business

In his new role, Shane Cox, will be responsible for growing Bulletproof’s international business, as well as assisting local organisations and partners to expand overseas.

Mr Cox said: “Bulletproof has successfully assisted a number of Australian organisations, including the Movember Foundation, in delivering mission critical cloud solutions to overseas markets. Offering both best of breed AWS solutions and VMware public Cloud with AWS Direct Connect, Bulletproof has given valuable international reach to Australian organisations, and I’m looking forward to driving this even further.”

Marketing manager appointed

In order to accelerate its existing marketing activities, Lee-Sia Kay joins Bulletproof from her previous role as marketing manager with Elcom, a global provider of enterprise web content management and technology solutions.

Ms Kay said: “I have always admired Bulletproof’s commitment to its customers, and its innovative approach to cloud services. With pioneering initiatives such as the AWS pay-on-demand support service, it’s easy to see how Bulletproof has become Australia’s premier mission critical cloud service provider.”

Taking Bulletproof to new heights

Mr Randall said over the last 13 years, Bulletproof has gained a strong word-of-mouth reputation as a leader in mission critical cloud.

“The Bulletproof brand has been strengthened through a large number of industry awards and nominations, most recently becoming the first and only AWS Premier Partner in Australia,” Randall said.

“We have worked hard to build a strong presence in Australia through our Sydney office and this further expansion into Melbourne is a reflection of our ability to deliver exceptional service to our ever growing client portfolio of some of Australia’s leading brands like Aldi, Quiksilver, and Universal Music Australia.”
