BlackMilk Clothing to open first pop-up store in Sydney
Online retailer BlackMilk Clothing has opened its first pop-up store in Sydney at Macquarie Centre.
BlackMilk, a Brisbane-based designer and manufacturer of outerwear collections, will feature its well-known bold and unique prints in the new store.
BlackMilk CEO Sally Osburn said the retailer decided to open the pop-up store after fielding many requests for an in-store experience from customers.
“We understand that new customers are also keen to see and touch our garments before purchasing, so this gives them a great opportunity to come and try for themselves the high quality products we are making,” Osburn said.
Osburn said that opening bricks-and-mortar stores will be a key part of their future growth strategy to become a multi-channel retailer.
“The success of this is supported by the appointment of experienced store director, Cassandra Towill, who joined the team this week in time for our first opening,” she said.
“We recognise that having a multi-channel offering in the current retail market is a key success factor and have a strong, experienced team to deliver this.”
