Australian online travel fashion store, Maison De Voyage launches
Targeting the modern-day jetsetter who lives for endless vacations, Maison De Voyage which launched online this week aims to become Australia’s preeminent destination for sourcing unique, chic luxury vacation attire and accessories.
Created by Theana Spartalis, a former Louis Vuitton staffer who has also worked with local PR agency, Sweaty Betty, Maison De Voyage offers a carefully curated, exclusive collection of recherche designer brands that she says will allow women to effortlessly transition from beach-to-bar this summer.
A luxe globe-trotter herself, Spartalis has dipped her toes in the world’s most glamorous coves and eaten in Paris’ most decadent restaurants – in beautiful dresses and designer flats.
She believes a woman’s wardrobe should match their lifestyle.
“I have always loved travelling and organising daily itineraries that cover all bases – where to eat, what to see and where to stay…,” Spartalis said. “This planning has extended to what I choose to wear while on vacation. Maison De Voyage allows me to do everything I love. I have sourced all my favourite resort wear and placed them on one website for other women to now shop and love as well.”
Brands on the site include Charo Ruiz Ibiza, Waimari, Temptation Positano, Rae Feather, Anna Kosturova, Agua Bendita, Autore Moda and Hermant & Nandita. Next year she plans to add more, including Sunday Saint-Tropez, Love Shack Fancy and Chinti & Parker.
All purchases will be express-shipped Australia-wide.
While the Covid-19 pandemic has put a freeze on almost all international travel right now, Spartalis is confident high-end consumers will still be taking vacations within Australia.
Besides offering fashion, the site will regularly post expert travel guides for both local and overseas destinations, including “the hottest places to sleep, stay, sightsee, sip and swim”.
