Amazon expands Harris Farm delivery to Canberra
Amazon Australia has expanded its grocery partnership with Harris Farm Markets to offer fresh food delivery to Canberra residents for the first time.
The service provides same-day and next-day delivery of produce, meat, and specialty items to more than 50 suburbs of the city from Amaroo in the north to Isaacs in the south, extending west to Weetangera and east to the Canberra Airport.
This launch introduces fresh perishable goods to Amazon’s local platform, which already carries over 55,000 non-perishable items and builds on a delivery service already available in other key Australian cities.
Orders are fulfilled from the Harris Farm Markets location at Majura Park. Customers can select specific two-hour delivery windows and opt for unattended drop-offs.
The service requires a minimum order value of $50. Shipping costs are structured based on membership status and total spend.
“Australians told us they wanted fresh groceries delivered fast, and we listened,” said Suyog Sankhe, head of grocery partnerships, Amazon Australia.
“Now they can get Harris Farm’s quality fruit and veg at their door the same day they order. Everyday Essentials is one of our fastest-growing categories in Australia, and we’re thrilled to add Harris Farm’s exceptional range of fresh produce and artisan products to our selection, enabling eligible customers to do their complete grocery shop on Amazon.
